Default 94 ex catalytic converter

on the wayt home tonight a hole blew in my catalytic converter, i have no money so is it gonna hurt anything to drive this around for a little while, when i do get money should i replace the whole exhaust system, the one thats on there is a piece of crap anyway, any suggestions?

ur golden....unless u dont want it to be making a loud/buzzing sound that only a holy exhaust can make or have to worrya bout emissions testing......what kinda exhaust are u running right now???....u only NEED to change the cat


EDIT: you should be able to get a used (but still good) cat/ an OEM replacement for DIRT CHEAP.....check ur local junkyards.....

the exhaust i have now is just a stock replacement muffler, its not anything special but its already rusting and has a few small holes, i'm thinking of going to a 2 or 2.5" pipe but i dont want to sound really loud like everyone elses, any ideas

apexi world sport exhaust. on the accords you can hardly even hear it unless you WOT it. my friend has it on his civic, sounds nice

link in my sig......its write after iam7head's suspension write-up......id go 2.25"/60-70mm piping......2.5 is often too big unless ur going turbo

3 inch is more of a turbop application....2.5 is more of a built engine application. just go with something 2.25... its ur best bet

ebay has a bunch of universal (1.75,2.00) magnaflow,carsounds, nonamers for sale if you need a cheap replacement... i saw their carsounds ranging from 20-44$'s and magnaflows the same...
