1- 88 red 5 speed honda crx dx 112k miles.many mods including dc sport headers,obx custom exhaust system,custom cold air intake sysem,short shifter, lowering springs and clear corner and blinker lenses.99 civic si rims with new perelli low profile tires.racing tachometer with built in shiftlight,custom sterio system including kenwood radio with remote,4 6 1/2 pioneer speakers,600 watt kenwood amp and 2 pioneer 10 inch subs.many many new parts on car,and many other mods too. $2200
2-89 Barbados Yellow Si with 106k miles, dent on door, new 1200 paintjob, stock color. 1900
3-91 Black Si 121k miles, dealer car, 1600...
ok here is the dilema about the 91 black Si its 4 hours away one way so thats 8 hours of driving. the 88 is a dx granted but its an 88 which means no door mounted seatbelts, and has the type-r like suspension, as well as mods, but it has some rust in the back and not sure what kind of paintjob it has if it is maaco or not, looks really good from one pic. now the 89 Yellow is bone stock, and has a dent in the door, but has the door mounted seatbelts and the Y-49 curse, but its exactly like the my old that i flipped its an 89...
i plan on doing a engine swap anyway,so if go zc i can use the header and the intake from the dx already...plus with the red dx it would look good with black rota's and a carbonfiber hood where as the yellow might not look so good unless it was repainted to a darker yellow, how unholy...
what should i do...

If you get the dx and you are doing the motor swap I believe you have to change it from dual point to multi point fuel injection. Also the 91 si comes with rear disc instead of drums another selling point. I would get the si since it comes with the sunroof stock and you can get more for the used engine. The seats are also nicer than the dx. Trying to get rid of rust is a bitch. I would not buy a car that has any visual rust. It most likely would have hidden rust that would prove to be a problem later. Good luck with the choice though... Hope I helped
