to anyone with their rear cargo storage compartment (the one with the lock on it) does your guys' lock work at all? lol no CRX i have ever seen has it working

i would also need another key just for that unless i bought a lock set from honda.....no thanks

If you don't want to fix it then just deal with it. Why would you post a question and not want a solution? Sorry that I provided any input.

Mine works...sort of. Problem is if you pull up hard enough you just pull the whole compartment up, lock and all, and then you can just reach in the side...

the question was not about fixing mine now was it? it was just a general question, if i fix it i dont want to spend money on it because i am going to buy the rear seat anyway but in the meanwhile i was thinking about ******* with the lock to fix it WITHOUT spending money so that way i could lock it for ***** and giggles

if you want to mess with it, pull the lock out and you should see the tumblers in it. see if one is jambed. put your key in and see if it binds anywhere.
