Is It possible to take out the atts?

Default Is It possible to take out the atts?

I have a 2001 SH and really dont see a need for the atts unit, in my head it says more weight and fuel consumption. I can give a sh*T bout wut it does it aint a lsd so screw it right? If its possible to take it out and not have problems in the future please let me know if it is a possibility. Thx alot yall

Yes, it's possible. A search should bring up previous discussions on it - but in a nutshell, you need a base tranny & intermediate shaft, and some custom mounting done for the new intermediate shaft.
