Why would you want low end? The 1.8 lacks low end tq no matter what you do.

Compression, compression, compression!

Long tube header such as SMSP with a good 2.5 exhaust (Works nice!)

Jun II intake cam (advanced 5-6 degrees) with stock ITR exhaust cam (Works nice!). May want to change VTEC engagement point.

Check intake comparisons for the one with the characteristics you want. (wasn't J's the best in low end?)

Fuel management system and tune.

Electric motors have excellent low end torque capabilities.

See the torque/power specifications of the electric motor portion herein:

In fact, the slower it's turning the better the torque

Buy a Viper.

Seriously, you have a 1.8L. What do you expect? The biggest improvement on low end acceleration will be closer gear ratios.

Why wouldn't you want low end? But yes.. a 1.8 litre engine does not have torque, unless you're force feeding it.

Maybe bore out the engine to a 2.0l with higher compression. You may see some low-end torque, but Type-R meant to be driven at higher RPM.

turbocharger j00.. T3 60 compressor with .48 or .36 a/r will ensure a good low end
