harbor freight
After a mishap at the last hpde i attended with my harbor freight jack,
i called in regarding the warranty, and amazingly they asked no questions, and had me send it in for repair.
2 weeks after they receive it, i get it back and i test it out today....worked like a charm !
to harbor freight stuff
my only gripe is that they didnt replace my mounting point that was marred by a subbie owner, but i give a rats *** about that... function over anything else

Harbor Freight stuff is ok...
Most of it is really cheap stuff, but you can get good deals. Generally if it doesnt have moving parts (prybars, impact sockets), buy HF
If it does, or you need them for any degree of precision, then craftsman/snapon...

Hand tools and sockets I use Craftsman only, but when it comes to the stuff that are prone to breaking anyway, Harbor Freight stuff works well. Their impact sockets aren't too shabby, mine have put up with a lot of abuse. Their jacks don't seem too bad either, but I dont have first hand experience with them yet.
I just picked up a welding mask from them the other day, about $50 and its those battery powered ones that changes the degree of shading when exposed to bright lights. I'm very pleased with it so far! I love getting the little catalogs from them in the mail, great bathroom material!!

Funny, I think Victoria's Secret has the same marketing campaign.
I haven't really had any experience with anything of theirs other than the jack, but the jack works wonderfully. Nothing has broken on it yet after a little over a year's worth of use.
