Okay, I know to install speakers for the front doors I need to take the door panels off. Thing is, how do I do it without screwing anything up? And... when I go to buy speakers... can I install a 5.25" or 6.5" speaker without having to modify the speaker grille in the panel?

Cool, thanks... I read somewhere before (can't remember) that the factory speaker was a 5" and I was thinking, "WTF? They don't even sell 5" unless it's custom or sumptin'" so that's why i was wondering. Thanks dude!

 

You'll most likly need to make an MDF adapter ring to get a 6.5" speaker to fit.

I *believe* the stock size was 5 1/4" in the front, though I'm not positive.

Watch out for mounting depth of the speaker though. Even with a 5/8" spacer I currently can't roll my windows all the way down in my crx
