Default JDM Foglights... Friend going to Japan, can he still buy them new?

Just like the title says. If my roomie were to go to a Honda dealership, and ask for a set, would they have them? What would he need to get them?? Anyone know??? Thanks guys.

I know... 3 sets of foggies. 2 for our CRXs, and 1 to sell on ebay for an outlandishly high price.

LOL... well, you'd have to be a kills regular to figure that out. Just uhh... browse through sometime.

Yeah... it just has to fit in a suitcase. I just hope someone has some info. I think we might need a VIN too. I might be able to code one up... we all know that it at least has to start with JHMEF8 right?

im thinking they are still available since most of the crx's there have them installed. theres got to be replacements.

Meh... don't give me that ****. You're talking to the guys that had 4 PS2s imported from Japan in the trunk of a car. I can get around customs.

Contact me please. I am looking for a JDM only motorcycle part, turn signals. I'll gladly pay your buddy or anyone else who can get stuff direct from Kawasaki of Japan. Please help.

Yeah. These things will go for upwards of $200 without the wiring harness. It's obscene. In the box, be ready to pay $400 to even $700. geeez... I also know a guy that just sold a pair Friday for $80. I was so pissed off that it wasn't to me.

even then, the fact that people were bidding on them past $500 is RIDICULOUS.

Why not just use like a Hella foglamp or something and mount it up custom?

My bro has a set of lamps that are that exact shape (probably just about the same size too) that he mounted on his Maxima because he couldn't afford to shell out the $ for new ones.

Just try to find an oem switch (maybe that's hard too) and you're good to go.

OEM switches are hard to find, hell anything oem options for the CRX are hard to find (minus the dash clock)

That's the backup plan.

I've got a Torino Red CRX, and it'll look really kick *** with a JDM front, Bronze 15" Mugens and Yellow JDM fogs. I've got a good lock on the other parts, it's the foggies that I'm having trouble coming up with.

Meh... things were so much easier with the rusty hatch. I couldn't have given a **** about the look of it. Now I'm afraid to even drink water in my car. UGH.
