need the expert's help please...
ive been trying to purchase my first car now for the last few months. I've saved up about~ $2100 from my child daycare job after school to working at the movie theator down the 101. Now ill be going off to college soon and I need a better job and to get my girl and me around in. So here is my delema. I so far do not own a ve-hic-le, so im forced to bum rides (LAME!). So I really would appreciate your insight on buying a CRX. An HF or Si really dosent matter. But it will be my car to from work school w/e, mabe a little vroom vroom on the weekends i dunno. But I need to know what to look for.
So really, this is what I know so far:
*no rust
*no crashes
*150k miles or less
now I don't know what else to look for. Ive checked on AutoTrader for Phoenix, Arizona and there are like 5 CRX's around here, and they seem to me grossly overpriced. Im looking for a 2nd Gen 88'-91', but I just can't find any! So please enlighten me with your advice/knowledge! Thank you!

After reading about everyone on here getting mint CR-Xs for 1500 bucks I feel like I grossly overpaid for mine. I paid 3,000 after taxes for mine last July for a 91 Si. Great body, no mechanical problems--and the sunroof still works.
But you know even after hearing about everyone else's great buy, if I had to do it all over again, I'd still do it. I <3 my rex.
If 2100 is the max price you're will to pay, then you may need to make some sacrifices. Whether that's in time you spend waiting for one to become available, or one that requires some work... Either way I think it'll be worth the wait. Good luck
