Honda's racing spirit will also be represented at Tokyo Motor Show with the prototype NSX-R. Based on the concept of "evolution and strength", the NSX Type R features carbon fibre panels, hood air outlets, rear spoiler and engine compartment cover as well as carbon fibre-backed Recaro seats, custom Type R 17-inch alloy wheels and Momo genuine leather 3-spoke steering wheel.

Any specs on this car? anyone?

 

No one knows real sold facts yet. Because apparently modified 6 was fitted to the car as v8 as well..and been test beding the car with the power plants. The Normal NSX suppose to have 290hp and the NSX R suppose to run 300-305hp with the 6. But those are figures that came out Honda as #'s they where wanting and aiming for. But some say the hp figures maybe slightly higher. But on the NSX R I doubt you need to much HP with all the light weight parts on the car..but that car never see the light of day here because of CF hood.
