I have a 2001 silver ls. gonna add carbon fiber lip and hood, would gun metal or black rims look better on it. Also should i go with 17's or stay with 15's?

16" black or gunmetal would look nice IMO

 

if u get black make sure there polished and i think they look good with a chrome lip

depends on the rim MSR rims are nice with a polish lip check them out. motegi makes a few nice rims, the tantrums are sweet in gunmetal, do some searching on your own dude, don't try to impress others, impress yourself with your car, that's who your doing it for and your money.
