Default Ok guys. Its that time. I HAVE ULTRALIGHT RODS NOW for H22A.

And, being a prelude guy deep at heart, I have tons of these H22A ultralite rods in stock, right now.

And they are priced VERY good. very very good. As in under $400 a set.

they weigh 468 grams each...thats with the rod bolts in...!!!!

Heres a pic.

I can offer excellent jobber pricing also. Times are good!

Time to build PRELUDE VTEC MOTORS.

A couple questions - what's the weight of the stock rods for comparison?

Also, how do these compare to stock rods in durability? Are they forged?

My apologies if this information has been posted before.

Thanks.

They are forged.

B18 coming in weeks. ALL KINDS.

They are lighter than Eagle, or Crower, if thats what your asking. Significantly.

lightweight rods reduce the rotating mass of your motor... your motor works less to turn, so in theory you get a tad more HP cause it has to work less to spin it.

Stronger rods are the key to allow you go get higher RPM.

Default (D.specs)

Eagle rods?

Those are H beam, these are I beam.

And check the weight in grams vs these...

468 grams per rod.

And what is Eagle? B series rods, which are smaller, are 500+.

And these are prelude!

They actually don't look anything alike.

yeah, I have H-beam Saenz rods. They're fatter, and require notching of bottome of the cylinder wall. More custom ****. eagh. Ibeam are nice cause they should have the clearence.

And my motors redline was ~9k~ although it's been 10,500 or so once and lived fine.

yeah, lol..... reprogrammed ECU. hahaha
To do it safely I'd say pistons and rods, and a valve spring kit.

Question: Are these streetable? I know some ultralight rods do not hold up well under daily driving and boost. How strong are these, and will they hold up to serious abuse?
