Default AWD GSR Conversion

I've been doing some reasearch, and from an all hypothetical standpoint, how easy/difficult would it be to swap in the JDM Xi AWD drivetrain into a USDM 97 GSR? Will the tranny and engine align properly? I know nothing about the ZC engine in the Xi. Or would it be easier to take an Xi and swap in a C1 motor? (Please ignore cost and availability of parts for this, I'm just trying to think this through and see if anyone knows about doing the swap.) TIA

The AWD Integra had a SOHC D-series engine, so it would be pretty much impossible to use the drivetrain on any B-series engine. Not only would it not be compatible, I'm sure it wouldn't be able to handle the power and torque of the B-series, especially a DOHC VTEC powerplant.

THe only way this is able to be done that I am aware of is by using CRV components if you want to stick with a B-Series motor, the only down fall to the CRV AWD setup is that the power distribution is 90% front 10% rear so your not really getting all that much power to the rear wheels

I bet you could send the tranny off somewhere to get the power distribution played with.

90/10... why even make the CRV AWD in the first place? What does the 10% do? "Woo hoo! With this sizzlin 130 Ft-lbs of torque, 13 of those are going to the rear wheels! I could probably move a "RED RYDER" wagon with that!"
