what does it mean when those two lights are on? i have a 95 gsr and those two lights are on. and how do you trigger the check light flash sequence on a 97 civic?
ABS is your anti-lock brake system. SRS is supplemental restraint system - air bags. Each one of those systems thinks it has something wrong with it.
Find the service check connector stuffed up in the corner between the glovebox & kick panel. The same connector that you jump to read check-engine-light codes. So when you jumper it, the ABS light will flash its own error code. I don't know if the SRS does the same? Maybe I'll remember to look it up in my Helm book.
'97 Civic? That's OBD-II so you can go to AutoZone & they'll plug in their reader & tell you what code it's showing.
