What year is my Accord model?
Aren't VINs supposed to have 17 digits?? Something's wrong. Digit 10 is supposed to be the year, but they didn't use zero. If that "C" was the 10th digit it would be '82.
Edit... wait. 1981 was the first year for everyone to use 17-digit VINs. Maybe it's older than that?

It's definitely a 3rd gen (chassis code = CA5), but I'm gonna guess not in the US(??) 3rd gens used BT and BS engines (1986) and A20A1 and A20A3 (87-89). If I remember correctly A20A2 and A20A4 were for non USDM vehicles.
