please recommend mods for a 97 prelude
I recently purchased a 97 prelude. The guy I bought it from stripped alot of mods so I have a stock 97 with Civic Si seats, a carbon fiber hood, a Momo shift *** and brake lever. I'm curious about a new intake. I'm looking for a comparison between the V2 and other intakes. From your experience does it really perform the way AEM and other reviews says it does.
Also, any recommendations on the following mods would be appreciated
- Shocks
- Exhaust
- Wheels
- Anything else that works good for you

It would depend a lot on
1) The resources you have; Money, Garage, Tools, Time
2) What you want the end result to be.
3) If this car is your daily driver. If so, I would not recommend going FI on it.
4) Whether you like looks or performance better. Balancing out both can be quite tough
5) How long you are going to have this car.
Search is your friend. A lot of people ask the same basic questions. After you have searched, if you dont have what you need, post up!

Good suggestion Aries, those are some good questions that I have to figure out. But heres another question which I have asked several people and received several opinions:
I don't want to spend more than $400, what would be the first mod you would make?
I can get most things installed for pretty cheap by friends that know cars and I am leaning more towards performance for a car that I drive mostly just to work and for fun, my wife and I have another car I can use for just running errands

First thing anyone should look at is tires . . . What are you rolling on now?
A good set of ultra-high or max performance tires combined with a good alignment make an unbelievable difference in the performance of your car.

Good call Daemione...You're like the 3rd or 4th person to suggest new tires and wheels. I've just got stock wheels and AS tires so I was planning on getting new ones soon, but the general consensus (sp?) is to get them first before anything else.
Thanks

Has anyone ever purchased wheels/tires from WheelMax.com. I was looking at a set of Exel wheels with tires....I know they aren't going to be great wheels but for now I think they'll do.
Anyone have any good/bad experiences with either WheelMax or Exel?
