Default will my setup pass smog??

i kno this is kind of a weird post, but im thinkin of changing my muffler out to a CTR or ITR muffler with my straight piping.......mainly, i have a DC intake and DC exhuast, which are both CARB exempt. if i change my muffler, will it pass smog and how will my car sound wit that exhaust on???

i dont see how an exhaust will make u fail..unless ur state is more wack than cali.. other than that..a dc header although it is carb exempt might make u fail...

more often than not it dosent get the cat hot enough to be effective...

as far as a visual inspection your car will have no problem passing. Emissions wise you really shouldn't have a problem either. The header thing may be something you want to look into though.

As a side note. The CTR exhaust is 2.5" all the way through so it will not bolt directly up to your USDM Cat (without modification). If you get the CTR cat and cat-back you will either have to modify the cat or the header pipe. Good luck

u will pass visual easy since u got carb parts but the header will put out alot of heat which might cause u to fail.
