Default torque converter

how much does it cost to install a torque converter? Thanks!

well the shop I went to they said about 370 they have to pull out the whole transmission, be sure that the people know what they are doing. If you have the money get it done at the dealership but they will rape you on labor. I'm from san antonio and there aren't to many shops that have the skills to do something like that on a honda, it all depends on where you live.

I assume you have an auto tranny. what car do you have?

Are you going to replace your current TC with a high-performance one?

your better off getting a manual tranny if you want to boost.

you can ask the company your getting the torque convertor from, like how much hp can thier t c handle.

the torque converter will handle the boost with out much problem, the question is are willing to spend all that money!

plus will the stock tranny internals (clutches and bands) hold up to the extra torque from the boost?
