H22a1 sleeves
I know the a1 is a soild deck block but is there anything i have to do with the cylender walls with building the motor for boost i'm putting in arias 9:1 pistons and pauter rods. so i was told there were sleeves i could buy can someone point me in the right direction.. also who makes the best oil pump gears?
First of all, search. Plenty of sleeving posts. Either way, if you want to run w/o sleeves and take the chance, choice is yours. I think it can be done. But if not you can go cheaper seeing that it is an h22a1 block. You should be able to find, through a machine shop, iron replacement sleeves for your 87mm bore. It will run significantly cheaper. (300+-) Otherwise go big. GE, Darton, whatever you want to pay for.
