aight as most of you know i got a mini me set up (a6 block z6 head) but i am still using the HF ECU...my check engine light is on...will it still throw the correct code??

 

it will throw a code...but only with the problems it can read on that ecu...you might want to get an adaptor harness to run the other ecu for it to ready the codes from that ecu obd0 and obd1 have different codes...also the vtec head has more sensors that won't be read by that ecu

 

i think i said that right...hopefully someone that knows a little more about the ecu's can chime in on the subject...but i gotta get going...have a good night
