yea, the seats you speak of with CRX VTEC stitched in red are EDM seats, not JDM.

yup. the side bolsters are leather while the center is cloth (black w/ red) just like our 90-91 crx si seats.

If you don't care if they are the real thing take your stock seats to a upholstery place and take that picture with you and tell them thats what you want them to look like, and you could probably get them done for like 4-500.
Maybe a stupid suggestion, but just a thought

Thats what I was thinking. You would come out cheaper getting some with ripped covers for cheap and getting them reupholstered. But then again there are those ppl that like the seats JUST because they are "JDM' or whatever

And how are you going to notice the difference?

What do you mean they don't hold any value? Sure they do, as long as they look nice and clean, not all flashy, ricey, or junky. I mean, if you get them done in flourescent yellow with bright blue stitching and piping, nobody will want to buy them - but if you get them done tastefully, they'll still be worth some $. You can still tell they're CRX seats.
I want to have mine re-done with some sort of black suede-ish or jaquard material with red stitching and a red CRX logo, like the EDM seats without the "VTEC".

So you mean to tell me that you wouldn't check out some of their work before you take your car to get it done?? Me personally, I know a guy that does an excellent job in upholstery. He has done a few famous folks cars around here.

MJ's surgery is permanent, upholstery isn't. Not a good comparison to me. My point was check out the place first, vs saying "you don't know the quality of their work"

Once you get them done, post some pics so i can see what they look like. I was thinking about doing some myself.
