Default ground control spring ratings?

I have a 5th gen and am planning on getting ground controls for it. What are the standard prelude spring ratings that come on ground controls? What is the best rating for me if I want a firmer ride for normal streets and hihgway? I do not autocross or race or anything.

about 350lbs/inch should be good front and back. I would not go too much above that. Also make sure you get shocks with the package.

I JUST installed some ground controls on my car and LOVE them. The ride is stiff yet supple. It is DEFENTLY top quality parts.
There STOCK off the shelf rate is

380 front
250 rear

Good luck and enjoy

I'd do 250 front and 200 rear if you still wanna drive it on the streets like you would with the stock set-up.

Alot of your ride harshness will be determined by the shocks. I wanna say its 75% shock, 25% spring. I have revalved Konis with 400 & 600 lb springs and it rides almost like stock with the shocks turned down all the way.

You wont be able to do that with an OTS shock though, so dont get the wrong idea.

If you wanna cushy ride, I think a set of Konis with 300ish lb springs would do nicely. Just dont try those rates with AGxs or something. You will end up with the shocks set all the way firm in an attempt to control spring oscillation. The fact that the shock is set all the way up is what REALLY rattles your teeth out, not so much the spring....to a point. Its a battle of diminishing returns IMO.

How high of a spring rating can I go with off the shelf konis? Is 475F/400R to high?

I thought you said you don't race or auto-x, so go with the suggested spring rates. But to directly answer your question, it debateable but typical OTS Konis can handle between 400 and 500 lb spring.
