Default Side Airbag

The side airbag light comes on intermitantly. Any idea what may be causing this issue? Comes on for a day. Off for a couple...could be a week..etc.

2k Accord 2dr 4cyl.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Youss

Is there anything on the seat when it comes on? Like a laptop or breifcase.

It's supposed to when you lean over like that. It also disables the side airbag when the light is on.

I've noticed it comes on in the morning on my way to work. I place my laptop bag in the passenger seat. I also tend to lean towards the middle because Im half a sleep

hmmm....so you're saying there was a recall with the 2k accords? I have the 4cyl coupe.

Try putting your bag in the back seat or on the floor. See if that keeps it from coming on.

Yes, it was the bag and when passengers do lean left or right the light comes on........Thanks all....

Now I have to figuire out why the hell my car makes a grinding noise every time I make a left turn. Sounds like it coming from the back right wheel. Did an initial check and it looks like it might be the roter...anyone experience this before?
