Default B injectors vs D injectors

Does anyone know if the B16 injectors push more cc of fuel than the D16? I would figure that they would b/c its a bigger and more HP motor but wanted to be sure. I want to put some in my d16y8 to increase the fuel by a little bit. Well thats if they can even be installed in that motor.

240cc injectors for b16 and i think it's the same for the d16 but they have different duty cycles... can anyone confirm this?

all civic and integra injectors flow 240cc, idk about the prelude injectors, they maybe the same maybe not idk. only difference is duty cycle which is controlled by the ecu. so it wont help

yeah, ecu controls duty and swapping in a b16 ecu for a d-series is not possible so i don't think you can do that for more fuel.

preludes are 290cc 5th gen at least

its not to do with the duty cycles, it has to do with the impedance of the injectors. the dual cam VTEC injectors are a higher impedance injector than the D's, but they both flow 240cc. the 4th gen prelude injectors are 310cc if memory serves. 5th are 290 as Kal said

ok then explain to me why jdm obd 0 b16s need a resistor box. if they are high impedance then they wont need a resistor box but they do. obd0 are low impedance and require a resistor box, 0bd 1 and up use high impedance injectors so you dont need a resistor box. that should be right for civics and integra, idk if accords or preludes are different

*edit* lol yes the obd0 b16 uses low impedance injectors, forgot about that one, thanks man

so to answer your question green ex, yes you can use b series injectors but since they all flow the same it wouldnt help you in any way

kal, why cant you use a b16 ecu in his d16 ? ive seen it done on obd1 and obd0 cars. unless obd2 is alot different. not saying this is a good idea but im just saying it can be done

well i'm thinking since they're different engines and have different fuel curves and such... that it would not be a good idea. keeping his stock ecu would be better.

Um, all 92-00 Civics and 92-00 Integras use 240 CC high impedence injectors, except the CX/VX/(maybe HX), they use 180 CC high impedence. 90-91 Integras use 240 CC low impedence injectors, as well as 88-91 Civics/CRX (only SI with MPFI).

wait your using an SI ecu in an ex, ahhahahahahahah there are two things that is doing for you giving you shitty gas milage and giving you less power

how was i lied to when i pulled them myself? I got the injectors out of a car at the junkyard (99 EX). I am using a resistor box with them and they work fine.

i can verify also, i've used 92 JDM OBD1 injectors in my 89 Civic. I also later used OBD1 RC injectors later on with the resistor box with no problems.

the car gets the same gas mileage and it also seems to have a better throttle response so i dont know if its giving me less power
