I need to make my own exhaust gasket...turbo setup with adapter plate. I can't seem to find anything that will withstand the heat? Any ideas on a gasket sealant that won't burn up?

Go to Pep Boys or some auto parts store and by the gasket roll. Its a 3 ft. roll of gasket material that is ultra high temp. You just trace out the old gasket and cut it out then use it with some type of hi temp sealent. I used it for a Tial wastegate gasket and it has never failed.

 

I went and bought some ultra high temp copper stuff....and no one seems to have the gasket by the rolls. So I will have to wait on the one from the manufacturer to come in....
