V6 w/ 6 speed tranny in a 2000 Acc EX??
I wanted to know if it's possible to swap out a 2004 V6 into a 2000 Accord Coupe EX and use a 6 speed manual instead of the crappy automatics that come with the 2000 V6's.....

no that is certainly not possible. not without some major money, time, and fabrication.

the 7th gen accords have completely different engine and trannies than the 6th gens. I have heard a lot of people say that the legend V6 manual tranny will work, but in all of my years as a Honda head I have never actually seen it done.

the CL-S 6 speed and the Legend 5 speed are the tranny's you can use to swap w/ a v6 accord.....check out http://www.v6performance.net for more info on it, its covered all the way down to how to DIY
The best way is to either swap in a 6 speed from a J block motor, i.e. cl-s or a 2003 accord 6 speed, or swap in an entire motor and tranny but it is not as easy as it seems you have to convert alot more than just the motor and tranny. You have to change the interior wiring harness and the fuse blocks to accept the manual tranny and motor. Your easiest option is to trade your car in on a new accord v6 manual, and then you will have what you want.
what about a 4cyl model, already set up for manual tranny. how different are the engine mounts, it's not like the 5th gens where 6cyl's had a totally different engine bay than 4cyl's right?
Yeah the guy already has the swap done and is pushing out like 300whp with a tuned supercharger. Go find jimmyrecluse at http://www.v6p.net
