My dad yesterday surprised me by getting himself his own integra.He got a really good deal on it.99 4 door auto ls integra like brand new for 7700 with 57k miles.Anyways he wanted me too ask you guys 2 questions.His sunroof has problems opening.It does not pop up and when it slides back when we push it up, it shakes around and isnt smooth like my integra.Also he found while looking inside his spark plugs, there was oil around there where the wires go into the valve cover.Mine is dry on my integra.Is there anything wrong with that or is it something too do when he did a compression check?Thank You

take off your valve cover and replace the the 4 spark plug o-ring gaskets and the main valve cover gasket..you can get that as a kit at a parts store. also, it sounds like one or both of the tracks are messed up on the sunroof, maybe bent, but i'm just guessing on that.

 

great thanks for the info.I will tell him about the spark plugs,the tracks look pretty good and straight.Anyone else have info?

 

im gonna have to go with (Mr. Anderson) on what he said about ur oil problem
as for ur sunroof take it apart and check it out ahahahh
