Default 86 87 integra ecus no starting up my 88 crx dx ( mpfi )

Guys I bought two integra ecus, one is 86 and the other 87, none of them would start up my car. I have an 88 crx dx with mpfi swap, msds, etc.

the 87 ecu wont start the car but everything works fine
the 86 ecu wont start the car but when i take the key out the ignition stays on.

Is there a problem behind all this of both ecus just blown?

Both ecus are from 5spd integras.

I might be wrong, but I think you need to use 88 or 89 ecus.

You won't really know because you need to use an 88 or an 89 ecu.
