ITR #1341 Stolen 10/23/01
Woke up this morning and it wasn't there. It was stolen sometime between 2 and 7am. Around 2 I heard an import sounding exhuast outside so I looked out the window, but didn't see anything out front. Looked down the street and I saw brake lights. From where I was I can't see where the car was parked, but the motion sensor light wasn't on, so I didn't think anything of it. Anyways, maybe the police will find it in one peice, hopefully.

Dammit, sorry to hear that... 
What security mods failed to stop them this time? If even one caR can be kept by sharing this info, it would worth it to all of us. Obviously they got around the alarm, then disabled it and started the car... Did you have a hood sensor, autolock, anything they defeated that really surprised you?

THIS IS ******* BULLSHIT WTF IS UP WITH PEOPLE?? sorry to hear about what happened, i just feel bad for people who have to leave their cars outside and without a garage.......sux alot, im sure u will get the car back

That blows. Its been a while since one has been stolen. I'm sure the ball will start rollin again. A task force should be in effect to protect the type r. Maybe the endangered species list will help protect this beast. Once again I'm so sorry for your loss. Good luck.

We should all put a wireless cam (with motion detector) and point that thing where the R is parked whether it's indoor or outdoor. I really think this will catch somebody. Everytime I see a post about a R getting stolen is at night and seems to me like it's done by a professional or well know car thief. We should just turn that thing on and let it record thourghout the night. This is a small investment and a good way to eliminate those car thiefs if cops know who did it.
Cyrio, hope you get it back soon enough. If you don't hear from it by 6pm tonight, then don't hold your breath. My first car was stripped cleaned within 6 hours and that's after I got it back too. Those guys are quick I tell you.
