YES!! Finally got my new rims and tires on the R' (4x 800x600 pics)
Hi guys,
Hi, I just wanted to share with you all
I bought a set of orginal Euro ITR-rims from "Austrian Type R" this winter (nice man to do business with
I sent them to a mechanical shop to get them ready for powdercoating earlier... I got my rims ready from the paintshop yesterday, and I went straight to my "tire-pusher"
where my Bridgestone Potenza RE540S waited for me.
I have just now been outside changing wheels in the nice early spring weather here i Norway. Took a quick car-wash and snapped a few pics for ya'll. Hope you like em, I am very happy with the look and the finish of the paint
Now it is time for a long drive in the countryside

Thanks for all the compliments guys, I am very happy myself
This has been a good day! I think the rims and tyres gives my R a perfect look, and the RE540S seems to work very well. Very responsive and lots of grip, even on cold tarmac. I have to wait until the weather heats up a little bit and I have a trackday behind me to give a full review though.

I bought my Bridgestones at a small local dealer here in my homwtown in Norway where I always buy my tires, he gave me a sweet deal (as usual)
But you can buy them from Dahlback racing in Sweden also Link: http://www.dahlbackracing.se/english/main.asp
Thats My best tip right now.

We don't get quite the same choices in "performance" tires this side of the pond.

Thats ok, most you guys are in the USA anyways - so I am used too it
And no, we don't have the same choises/options as you guys do - but it is upsides and downsides too that
Performance parts and OEM parts for the ITR are VERY rare and expencive over here
But we manage with some good help and information from our H-T friends
BTW: Here in one more "close-up" pic for ya'll.

Those are R-compound tires, which only last 6000km, right ?
The car looks very beefy... I just don`t remember.. is it one of the black ITR`s I sold to Norway ?
