New Shoes for the Si
First a look back to the day it came home about 7 months ago.

And as it sits today.

Just finished a bunch of work, and thought it a good time to take new pictures. Most of the work has been internal/repair, lots of new toys though. The only real visible difference from the last set is obviously the wheels. 16" Royal Silver Rota Grids w/ 205/45/16 Yokohama Parada Spec-2's. A VAST improvement over the bare steel wheels I have been running for the last several months. I also finally installed one of the front lips I had laying around. Even with the extra 1.5-2" skirt the front end sits about a half inch higher then before due to all the recent weight removed from the engine bay. The fenders are going to need rolled, it rubs a little now.
Eventually i will paint the front bumper. The whole car needs paint pretty bad...doesnt show in the pics though.

Only because everyone is used to seeing the same old dark colors: Black, Bronze, Gunmetal
Its just different.
I like them. Dont think I could have matched MY stile better without spending 4 times as much money.

I dunno about sho car tires...they stick better then the falkens did on my last car. Im sure weight plays a role though my last car was 2900lbs.
regardless the car feels like it will flip before it slides. I chose the tires because for azeni sports(which i WOULD prefer) I would have had to go with 215's. Would have raised the gearing too much for my liking. The paradas are within 3 rotations per mile of the stock size, and they stick fine. Thats enough performance for me.

I wouldnt know, it wasnt stock when I brought it home.
rippled hood, torn front bumper, same drop and exhuast it has now. The motor was on its last legs, still needs a new tranny. 4 mismatched tires. LOTS of small broken stuff.
everything on the car that was broken has been fixed except the tranny(damn 3rd gear syncro). Thus the hood and unpainted bumper. When I do paint it everything but the duckbill will be red so it wont have such a jumpy black/red look.
these are just progress pics...it still has a long way to go before its where I want it.
I thought the wheels wouldnt be popular, but they are different from what i always see, and i like them alot, so i posted anyways.
