is it true what the TODA page says about having to use there pistons or the valves might hit them?? thats the only reason i was gonna get the Spec B. ill check a few more places. i have spoon JDM ITR pistons. does toda make retainers?? should i just use ITR?? thanks
don't use itr retainers, they like to pop around 9500.. just use any titanium retainers.. they're all made from the same company but portflow, jun, skunk2, etc. put their stamp on them and sometimes make minor modifications. i don't think there'd be any clearance problems with the spec c's on itr pistons.. just toda trying to milk more money..
i used crower retainers on mine, with factory itr piston!!! i am running fine....
u can buy those retainers on their web site http://www.crower.com/

just do all the math if you want to know for sure
I believe the formula would have to be based on stock deck clearance so if the head was milled any you could start from there, would figure out the equation, but its like 30 mins of math , and i dont feel like it, you can figure it out though if you really want to know.
