run a larger 3.5 inch hfm like out of a 540 of a 4 inch hfm out of a turbo porsche and larger injecter and than have a chip burnt for the dme for the setup he has,new hfm exh injectors ect....
obd1 bmw dme's are so nice that all you need to do is install a new chip just a good idea to have the car tuned on a dyno than the chip burnt.
euro sport has adapted the aem ems sys to a e36
there is also plug n play tec3 systems out there for the e36

hope this helps

Active Autowerk (sp?) makes a pretty nice but expensive turbo system.
Mech-Tech also makes a turbo kit for it but it seems pretty cheesy.

Theres also countless blower systems out there.

aa systems are nice ...$$$$ use thier tuned chip for obd1
mectec in my opinion
aa supercharger sys uses a rotex blower its gear sys steps up the speed of the blower verry nice
my friends 95 3.0 m3 put down 415 on a untuned chip with the aa system on 8 psi on a stock motor with exhaust

if its an obd2 e36 then it has the small inake manifold.

a good easy upgrade is the m50 manifold kit and the AA software.

we do ALOT of cars with that setup. if its obd2 can be socketed for different chips or flashed, obd1 cars just get chipped, just like a honda...

im not sure in your area does this but we can do custom tunes for whatever. you dont need the 3.5inch afm, the stock one is good to about 280hp.

as far as i know eurosports adapted ems is not finished yet.

I have a friend with a Vortech Supercharged E36M3 and he's using the Tec3 standalone. Tec3 has a plug and play application for this car so no messy wires to deal with too.

imo, i would NEVER replace the factory ecu in a bmw. going to almost any standalone is a step backwards in technology. with the technology avalible you can tune a bmw ecu to do whatever you want.

well, my friend was getting ERT to send him chips, and none of them got his car really running properly. So after 6 months of them sending him chips that didn't work properly he decided to go standalone and made 70whp more than any chip ERT had sent him.
