I am heading to Atlanta for a few days for business this weekend... just wondering if anyone is out that way to hook up and show me around to some bars or cars

 

Where about in ATL are you staying? There's always buckhead... but, it's a freaking meatmarket. Midtown is alright. There's VA Highlands where young professionals chill. A few dance clubs out side of ATL where's it's open 'til 4am.

You'd fit right in ATL traffic, Jason. You need a racer's mentality to get anywhere in ATL. Crazy-a$$ ATL drivers.

I remember a Slopi run two or three years ago. Got separated from the gang, finally met up with Pete (Pest) on the highway leading into ATL. He led, I followed. Drove at 100mph + for a good 20 miles, getting passed by SUV's the entire time

If you get the chance, head into little five points and stop and junkamans daughter - then hit up the vortex for a burger and some alcohol - nothing around the dc/va/md area comes close to that experience..

haha, 'lil 5 points rocks... but there's only so many places to drink/eat/clubbing there.

 

Vortex is cool for burgers but if you want to chill and slam a few beers, check out BrewHouse Cafe.

aweome! Thanks everyone for the ideas... I was thinking of hitting up Buckhead tonight, never been there.. anyone around to meet up? I am done working for the day now so I am FREE FREE FREE! Just sitting on the 51st floor in my hotel room gazing out at the city hehee someone save me!

I kinda wanted to grab some sushi tonight at Sushi Rock...

 

atl monday night?? hmmm, i doubt there is really anything going on on a monday.. hit up midtown, it's way better than buckhead. however, cafe intermezzo is a nice relaxing place to go drink and chat. plus you can learn german while in the bathrooms (they play language tapes) fellini's is great for pizza, and has a great atmosphere, if you change your mind about the sushi there's one on peachtree st.
