i have posed a b20 from a prelude can i take a head off a b18 vtec would i be any good

 

thats the early B20... i dont know if the head fits but i know the rods are poo poo

dont use the first gen b20a's.... i was told not to even think about it a few months ago when i asked the same Q..... you can find the B20Z or B pretty cheap... around 500.00.... good luck...
