Accord Help ! Bogs down when gas is hit ?
iv got an 89 accord lx-i .... and for some reason the other day it started bogging down when the gas was hit whne the car was stopped ... after it "boggs" down .. it picks right up and goes ...
dont know what it is ... jus seems like the car is gonna die everytime i hit the gas when i am stopped ..... the tach goes from 1xxx down to 0 back up and then runs fine ... i dont know .. .
if anyone can understand what im talking about ...sorry i cant use better words to describe it .. but if anyone has any ideas let me know ! ..

I was wonder the same thing. My 91 accord bogs when i hit the gas too but only when is it very hot outside and under 1000 RPM. I have all ready don't a tune up and dont know that else to do.

buddy of mine said it could be the distrib ... said his car use to do that when it was hot outside untill he picked up a new distributor ... anyone have anything on that idea ?
