Default Toronto: Dr. Inks meet

Excellent turn out by many car clubs in Southern Ontario. Nissans, Acuras, BMW, and Hondas. I had a good time.

8 ITRs turned out last night. 3 ITRs were left over by the time we went to Korean BBQ at 12am.

Here are some pics.

hm, info on this meet was posted:

https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=808168

although it was more an open invite to all clubs...

there were way more than 8 Rs out too E... deep was there, chris was pulling out as we were coming in, and i thought counted another couple in the parking lot that weren't lined up with us... definitely an excellent showing

s2k's are having a zaino day on sunday... maybe people are interested in this? lapping day at cayuga was cancelled on sunday i will probably be hitting this up, anyways...

i didn't take many pics, didn't have a tripod, excuse the graininess. *_* here:

I think I'll make a "run for the border" next time you have a meet. It would be a nice roadtrip for me and besides... you need a black R too!

Two more "lineup" shots, sorry for the lighting... not everyone has mad camera skillz like Ed and pen...

Look at all those beautiful wings...

We still think klear kornerZ look clean on a CW R....

Just for completion, the last piece of KBBQ meat for the night (note the "grease moat"):

Overall a great first meet of the year...

Sorry guys that I didn't post earlier about this meet.

I haven't really been active on HT for the past few months. Been surfing the local message boards. I've taken more interest in my car so I'd be lurking here more often now.

Ravage00 I did let you know about this meet, however you mentioned that your car is *still* in storage. You're too busy gazing at STi's and EVO's anyways..

Babynsx, what can you do man. You got your priorities straight. There will be other meets in the future. Some ITRs are still hibernating so I'd expect a better showing in the spring/summer as always. Though I was quite surprised by the large turnout this Thursday.. this is must be due to penpen extensive list of ITR contacts and random ITR acquaintances.

DC2fanboy, good to finally meet you. You have an awesome ride. Look forward to the next meet. Or possibly track meet. Keep snapping the photos.

penpen, nice pictures as always. And wow dedication to the cause coming out from west to meet up. There's a Solo open house on Sunday at CSC Racing in Newmarket. http://www.cscracing.com I'm going to register for Solo 1

One more thing, compliments to the chefs that night (penpen, DCfanboy) you guys did amazing job cooking so efficiently for 6 on that one burner. LOL

Til next time.

Haha sorry s2kdarren, you too helped with the cooking as well. And I may add, did a wonderful job of laying that meat ever so flatly.

Welcome to the Honda-tech.

Don't you guys think the KBBQ burner to looks like a pressure plate.

How the heck do you guys take pics with such low light?

shutter speed = 5 seconds?

Tommy_Gunns, I shoot with film then scan the negatives. I was using 200 ISO film, 1.8 apeture and shutter was at about 1/6 s. I brought my tripod these were my first night shots with this camera. Next thing on the list to purchase is remote cable release for even more steady night shots.

Tommy,

You'll see the difference between Edwin's and my shots... 1.8 apeture with 1/50 shutter priority was as low as I could go without my tripod and shaky hands...

I'll let the pros like ed and pen take the good low light shots...
