Default brake pads: factory or akebono?

need to do a break job and wondering which pads i should choose. a few of my friends say that akebono is the way to go. factory pads and akebonos are similarly priced. this is a COMPLETELY stock car, and doesnt get raced in any way, shape, or form.

Well, considering Akebono is one of the manufacturers of OEM pads...........

They are probably nearly the same price because they are the same pad.

Yep Akebono and Nissin are the two OE manufacturers for Honda Brake calipers and pads.

I find the factory pads quite lacking compared to aftermarket brands like Axxis Metalmaster.
