Default H23a4 turbo

I was thinking of turboing my stock h23a4 (actually i think its a h23a4 "ULEV V-tec" on engine 2000 accord 4cyl) what would the problems be of doing this, say i buy a drag +100 kit, would that be a bad idea, should i just wait for a swap? and i did search and didnt find what i was looking for. thanks alot

There is no such thing as H23a4 2000 Accord. All the H series were on USDM preludes only.

You're engine is actually F23a4. The F23 is actually good for boost, although an H22 swap is better for daily driving.

Search H22 swap under the accord forum. You should get endless tips there. Also, check the Guide to Basic Accord thread.

i like boost personally it all depends what YOU are looking for !!! the h22 is good but if you put this engine in your car and decide to booost u may wanna do the internals these motors have highe compression and many people do this swap and boost and blow there motor theyve just spent 4 grand on so whatever u do do it right!!! theyre are many kits that are safe for your pr-existing motor without having the internals done but remember have the internals done on any engine will give you much more power !!! as well as the turbo or whatever u choose to do!goodluck!
