Anyone have ZEAL suspension for their prelude? Function B6 or anything else??
Was wondering if ANY of you guys 4th or 5th gen'ers had a ZEAL suspension on your prelude and IF so, how do you like it. I'm looking into the ZEAL Function B6 street coilovers (opposed to circuit). The ratings on the 5th gen are
16 kg/mm (front) / 12 kg/mm (back)

Please I NEED Help ASAP!!!

Have you actually got a chance to sit in the B6's with the Street coils (opposed to the Circuit Course?) Thanks!!
Stiffer than Ground Control/Koni Yellow suspension??

I have not sat in a B6 with this setup, but if you watch the Best Motoring video with the JUN Prelude in it the drivers express how they feel about the suspension, but make you watch the newest version Rotary Reborn, at the end there is a Touge Challenge with it in the competition. Sorry this is a gay reply but the drivers test the car, tell you how they feel about it.
yup i've done.. that but if u notice.. its' the Zeal Function S6 with Circuit springs... i'm looking more for B6 with Street... thanks for input tho...
and the rate was 18kg/mm front | 14 kg/mm rear

I was looking into getting the Zeal Function B6 coilovers for my 4th gen, but I didn't think they were available for our cars. Are you sure they are? If so, where did you find them? Prices?
I'd think about it. The spring rates (16kg/mm,12kg/mm) are pretty aggressive for street driving. The build quality on Zeal coilovers is always top-notch, but do you really want to be riding something that stiff on the street? Bay Area roads are not known for being particularly smooth.
Also, what reason is there for getting the Zeals...besides ballah status? I'm building up my prelude to be a mostly-track car, so I've been looking very closely at the Function B6. If I remember, most of the advantages to that coilover (as opposed to Teins) would really benefit your car on the track.

sponsorship by endless USA and a damn good price... ;-) BTW, u think these would be a lot stiffer than ground control and eibach??

Nice...I don't suppose your discount is transferrable to your friends, is it? (worth asking
)
I honestly think that the B6's will be a little uncomfortable on the street. What are your current spring rates with the GC's? I'm guessing that they're not much more than 550 lb/in. The B6's will start you out at 894/670 lb/in (conversion from 16/12 kg/mm)...which is wayyyy tough for the street. The B6's are also valved a lot more aggressively than the eibachs or konis.
Come to think of it, are you sure that 16/12 is their street setting??? That seems pretty stiff. Anyways, go for it if you like. Make sure to let me know if you get them...because I'd like to find out what you think about the setup.
BTW, did you ever get thos Spoon calipers? I've been meaning to ask you a couple things about them.
