Default taking off tranny??

freak man! pissin me off. anyways, I've taken off the tranny a couple times now but that was a LONG time ago. anyways, I took off everything and now it doesn't want to come off. any suggestions? I know I shouldn't have but I put a bar into the hole where you check the timing and tried to pry it off that way but wouldn't even budge. anyways, suggestions welcomed. TIA!

You probably forgot to remove the bolt that is located near the starter... I seem to forget that bolt EVERY time I remove my tranny. Also make sure you removed your flywheel cover that is held in place with 3 10mm bolts.

yup, actually, I removed the starter so I know that's not it. then I took off the bolt right below it. I'm pretty sure I removed all the bolts. I know last time it got hooked up by the bracket that connects to the rear mount. I took that off too. and yup, took off the flywheel cover too with the 3 10mm bolts. it got hooked up on that last time too. any methods of shaking it? I think it's stuck on the shaft somehow. gotta loosen it up. any suggestions? M2B4 waiting to be put in.

I always get hung up on that rear bracket one. If I remember, there's like 3 longs ones up there somewhere?

Also, might want to jack up the tranny so it's parallel with the motor.

Hey dude, I JUST had this problem LAST night.

Its a bolt i didnt EVEN see. I pried in the timing area too which is souldnt have done, and almost broke the little arrow good thing i didnt.

Anyway- Check the back side of the block toward the firewall way up there, there will be a bolt on the engine that goes through into the transmission, Its kinda hard to see and get to... I removed the back engine stiffener bracket, and got to it... The tranny came right off after that.
