Fuel Injector/Pressure Issue
When I swapped my new motor in, I removed the Injector Resistor box and used the motor's OBD1 Saturated Injectors thinking they were better... well from what I've read, the old Peak and Holds (using resistor box of course) are better; They're better especially since I look to eventually turbo and use larger injectors.
So I put the resistor box back in, desoldered my OBD1 injector work and resoldered in my OBD0 wires and put in the OBD0 injectors. I did keep the OBD1 fuel rail and FPR. Now it seems that at a gradual increase in acceleration I get a 'lag' like I'm running low on gas but I have a full tank. This didn't happen until I put the old injectors back on (which by the way ran the old motor perfectly fine) I was thinking that maybe the FPR needs to match the injectors rather than the motor...
Should I use the old OBD0 (CRX HF) Fuel rail and FPR? Is this really my issue?
Thanks!
John
UPDATE: Turns out 88-89 HF injectors flow 190cc rather than the 240cc the 90-91 HF and almost all other hondas use. Was choking motor.
