Default average amount of time...

what is the average amount of time for a jdm gsr engine to be dropped in a civic with all the components ready?

You can do it in a day if you are aware of what you are doing. If it is your first one, then set aside a weekend.
The model of civic will also be a factor in the time equation...

i wasnt planning on doing it myself, i was gonna have an autoshop do it, i dont have the knowledge yet, so how long would an autoshop take? thanks

It all depends on how experience the mechanics are. If they're good, they can get it done in 2 to 3 hours. My personal mechanic, is very good, but lazy, so it takes him around 5 hours.

Default My 2 friends and I...

....rolled a Civic into the driveway, pulled a D16Z6 from it and dropped in a B18C1 in 5 hours, turn of key to turn of key.
