shuddering on acceleration - 91 accord (auto)
my honda seems to have recently started having an odd shudder/shake that seems to start just after you get going to maybe 5 or 10 MPH when it then smooths out.
It almost feels like your driving on rumble strips.
Any ideas? I am thinking it might be the transmission but don't know if this is a known issue or if this is a problem anyone else has experieced. (I did search but didn't find anything conclusive).
It's a 91 LX 2 door with an automatic transmission (150k miles).
Thanks in advance,
MK

So I finally brought the car to a mechanic and they said that the timing belt slipped and it needs to be replaced? This seems a litttle odd to me.
Does this sound possible?
Also they want $400 to replace the timing belt is that reasonable?
Thanks agian,
MK
