Question how to connect subwoofer?
How do I connect my speaker wires to my sub? What kind of speaker terminals do I use? My speaker terminals are the ones where you push in like this picture:

To wire your subwoofer, you just push the terminal in and insert your wire. You have a DVC woofer, and by looking at the sub i think Dual 4ohm coil. Which means it allows you to wire your woofer in different ways in order to get the most power from your amp. What are the specs on your amp, and how many woofers are you wiring up so i can tell you how to wire them.
I only have one 2 ohm Kicker L7. I already know how to wire it up. I'm going to be running it at 4 ohm. I guess I should be more clear. There has to be some kind of speaker terminal that I could use instead of sticking my bare wire into it.
well.. since you have a 2ohm l7.. you can either run it series or parallel...
to run it series... just....too much to explain..
download the manual at kicker.com... it will tell you EVERYTHING...and what impedance you want to run the sub at?

I'm not asking how wire it up (series or parallel). I'm going run it at 4 ohm and already know how to wire it up to get 4 ohm. I'm asking what kind of speaker terminal do I use to hook up the speaker wire into the speaker terminal.
They sale those at Circuit City, or Sounddomain.com and a few other lil sites. What I did was get a generic o-ring battery terminal, and crimped and soldered the power cable to it. Then I put the o-ring around my lil screw thingy, and bolted it down. Looks really professional and clean, and I didnt spend all that money on a 15.99 battery terminal.
