since i put a roll cage in i no longer can fit a regular rear strut bar like this that comes up and then accross....



i need a strut bar that comes straigh across with NO coming up and across...




i dont want mugen because its too expensive i just want one that is simple and comes straight acorss... anyone know where i can find one? and yes i tried ebay 4 pages worth lol

 

weld a pipe across the rear.

 

lol i thoguht about that ihad to weld in my cage anyways but before i go welding anything else i was just curious to find somethign that would directly connect my rear struts.... thats all

my thoughts exactly... just make something of your own design... shouldnt be too hard, or expensive to take it to a local welding shop and get it welded up.

 

ya just have someone make on real cheap geta piece of 1/4 steel and cut it into a u then weld a bar between 2 of them simple

 

shawn did u search under dyi strut bar? i think theres a few there

 

that benen piece looks real nice but just as expensive as the mugen piece...

i dont want to weld a pipe directly between the bare shock towers becuase i am unsure how sturdy they are.... i will do a little more research and see what happens
