Default Help on removing header covor.....

I bought an aftermarket header and i was trying to take off the header covor, i got off the 3 bolts with ease. But what i need help with is taking off what looks like electrical wiring that goes to a metal plug , sorry i dont know what it is. I moved the header covor and pointed a flashlight at it and it looks like a screw is holding it there. Anybody has a solution to this? There is a Advanced Motor Sports shoppe right down my street but their always working on someones car and dont want to bug them about this sh*t. Thanks for looking and your help.

The "metal plug" is actually your 02 sensor. You need to have a special socket to remove it from your header. You can pick it up at Schmucks or Auto Zone or any parts store.

From there, you might need to lengthen the wire off the original 02 sensor, depending on where the placement is on the new header.
