Tire decisions, opinions wanted.
Well, I trashed one of my fairly new Bridgestone S-03 tires with a nail in the sidewall. Rather than replace it with another S-03 for around 150 installed I was thinking of picking up a set of Falken Azenis sport tires. I can grab four of them for roughly 280 plus another 40 for mounting and balancing. Any thoughts? Anyone want to purchace three 90% tread left S-03 tires in a 205/50/15?
thoughts?
if you get Azenis, better avoid driving through deep puddles, they suck in the rain from what I hear. S03's are excellent in the wet AND dry, and a better all around street tire IMO...
I would just pony up the dough for a new tire, depending on how bad the other three are.

I actually don't drive this car in inclement weather anymore. I have a beater for that. The ITR sees spirited drives in weather from 40 to 100 degrees. No rain or snow, although it's likely that it might get rained on here or there if I get caught out.
On stock rims, I dont think RE010's can't be beat. I would think S03's would be close though in the 195/50 size.
If you have 7'' wheels. the Kuhmo MX or Azenis in 205/50 are supposed to be good.
I would just get another S03 tire.
