LS Vtec 1/4 times?
Yay, I just got my motor back from the machine shop. B16a head, B18a block, JE pistons(12:5:1 compression), Eagle rods, Dart sleeved, and a couple of other little things here and there. Regular Toyo street tires, and a stock LS tranny....just for now. What 1/4 times should I be expecting? The motors going into my '89 4 door.

well my friend had a ls/vtec in his 91 4door civic not sure what it all had but was running on toyos as well and a J1 tranny he ran 14.8 but he was only shifting at 6500.

I've got a friend that had a 88 hf with a ls vtec but it was a type R head with cams gears header exhaust and intake that went 12.5 in Louisianna.

yeah he was even running the stock Si ECU because the one they got with the motor broke so they were running vtec through a push button... ghetto style

yea dont mean to dog on ya. but i highly doubt that car ran a 12.0 he doesnt even know what kinda rims he has and that lip sorry buddy thats a stock lip and sides. anyways yea the paint is clean minus the gay gas door sticker.

haha thats what i asked him. that car is suck a pos man. lol. fast as **** though. he threw that car together in like a month. thats not even his fast car lol he has a 93 hb that has a turbo ls vtec that ran 12.6 untuned on stock ecu @ only 8lbs of boost with some little 22/8/15 slicks. this month they are putting in the haltec and tuning it so he can run 25lbs. so he should hit very very low 11's oh yea the hatch weighs 2550 with driver lol

no I dont' know why it says gsr. I've asked him about it and it's a type r head. really. I also tried to tell him that those aren't type r rims but he just doesn't listen to well. agreed the gas tank sticker is kinda stupid, along with the lights but he did go that fast he has the slip at home.

similarly, i have a friend who has an LSVTEC in an 86 CRX, stock bottom end, major valvetrain work, etc... he ran a 12.45 @ 107 with a YS1 Tranny, and 12.7 with an LS Tranny...
