Okay I only have four of these on hand right now. Still planning to make more of these, as well as another brace for EDs with Integra master cylinders; just not sure when it will be. Also, still trying to figure out one for 90-93 Integras.

Brake master cylinder braces for 88-91 Civic/CRX ED.
- Improves brake pedal feel by reducing firewall/booster flex.
- Comes with all necessary mounting hardware.
- Will fit Civic HBs/CRXs/Sedans with stock master cylinder or with a 15/16" master cylinder setup (from a 86-89 Accord, 88-91 Prelude, or 90-91 Civic EX).
- Will NOT fit a 88-91 Civic/CRX with that has fitted an Integra master cylinder/booster.
- Very limited production. Not sure how long this will be made.
- Unlike the EG/DC chassis, JDM RHD EF master cylinder braces (ie. Cusco, Spoon, Feel's,...) can't be flipped around and fitted to a LHD ED.
** Please make sure you have the two OEM holes first. The one on the left (front most) is under a black circular OEM piece of tape.

The OEM holes. **The one on the right is usually covered by a circular black piece of tape. That 1" piece of tape will have to be removed. Please make sure you have the two OEM holes first.**

The prototype for hybrid brake setup is complete. Just waiting for the machinist to make a batch. Stay tuned (pun intended ).

how much does this thing actually help??? any other companies make them?? im not familiar with it so is the price reasonable?

I bought an EF Cusco one. It's not modifiable for the left hand drive car. The Cusco EG one is TOTALLY different and can just be bent to fit on the USDM EG chassis. The EF one is like a puzzle. It's very weird looking. I have it sitting in a pile of junk and some day it will make it's way to Ebay or the trash can.

I've never seen the EF spoon one, but I would assume that it's for the right hand drive car too.

Next best thing to steel braided brake lines...Only flaw that I found was that my car is a DX model and I dont have both holes mentioned above that's threaded. It works great though even with only one bolt attached. Brake response is increased and would highly recommend. Money well spent!!!

Good news. The ED2 brace for EDs with ITR master cylinders is made. Just doing the final testing on it. It should be ready for selling in a week.

what about the ED brace with DA boosters/m-c's?

 

It should fit that application too. We are going to test it on that setup next week. Is that the 15/16" DA or the 1" DA setup?

 

15/16'' setup. i wasn't aware of the non-abs coming in a 1'' during the 90-93 gen?

 

It's the ABS one, from a 90-93 DA, that is 1".

yea, that's what i was thinking. so no idea when the DA 15/16'' application will come out for the ED chassis?
